Clinical Massage
Advanced Clinical Massage for the treatment of chronic pain conditions and injury.
The aim of clinical massage treatment is to improve your quality of life through increased mobility, joint range of motion and improved posture while focussing on reducing your daily pain.
Clinical Massage draws on a combination of modalities including:
HEAT & COLD
Hot and/or cold therapy can help to reduce inflammation and ease pain.
DEEP TISSUE
Deep, longitudinal pressure, to encourage elongation in the muscle tissue.
MYOFASCIAL RELEASE
Freeing restrictions that arise due to fascial adhesions within the soft tissue.
EASTERN INFLUENCES
Shiatsu based techniques to warm up the tissues and assess the muscles.
TRIGGER POINT
A hyper irritable spot in a skeletal muscle that is often painful on compression.
EXERCISE REHAB
Exercises to help strengthen and stretch relevant muscles to ensure your recovery.
Client Testimonials
I would highly recommend her for anyone suffering from aches and pains who is looking for a massage therapist to help resolve those complaints whilst also wanting to feel relaxed.
Emma Riedo
I can move more, I sleep better and I don’t frighten my children by suddenly yelling in pain – all after just one appointment! I don’t believe in miracles, but I do believe in Louise.
Laura Ferguson
I went to visit Louise after several months of constant pain in my neck and shoulders. It was a wonderful experience, and I could feel the knots melting away during the course of the session.

Where can you find my treatment studio?
I’m based at Kamilla Barry Osteopaths in Bishop’s Stortford. You can find us in Hockerill Court on London Road. The walkway to Hockerill Court is just at the Hockerill lights opposite Suds laundrette.
The practice room is on the second floor, and there are no lifts available. Please do get in contact if this is an issue and we can try to arrange something to suit.
The space has a relaxing reception on the ground floor, where you can wait in comfort for your appointment.
